The African continent has fuelled Noella's imagination for a long time. Her brother lived over there for twenty years. She took numerous ecovolunteering trips there. And so was born her love for African Art and Wax fabrics. While wandering through the streets of Nantes one day, she came across a Naive Art painting of an African woman's torso (Yacoute).
